Osram TopLED Black series

Osram Opto Semiconductors has released its new TopLED Black series which can achieve luminous intensity of 1.9cd at 20 mA.

Its black packages prevent reflection from incident light, according to the company. The LED has a 60-degree beam angle which is optimized for display applications. The TopLED Black series is designed as a replacement for conventional radial LEDs.

The TopLED Black series, equipped with a thin-film chip, will be initially available in red and yellow.
