Diodes announces self-protected MOSFET

Diodes has introduced its new self-protected metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET). Packaged in the 2.3x2.8mm footprint 'flat' SOT23F package, the device takes 85% less board space than incumbent 7.3x6.7mm footprint SOT223 packaged parts, th company said.

The device has a continuous current rating of 1A and is qualified to the AECQ101 standard and features 60V load dump transients.
