HTC introduces 5-megapixel Touch HD PDA phone to Taiwan market

High Tech Computer (HTC) has announced the availability of the company's first 5-megapixel PDA phone, the Touch HD, in Taiwan with a suggested retail price of NT$25,900 (US$779).

The handset features a 3.8-inch wide, WVGA (480 X 800 pixel) display offering a cinema experience on the go.

With the TouchFLO 3D user interface, it responds to finger gestures when scrolling through contacts, browsing the web, and launching media.

It is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera for quality stills and video.
