Dell Japan has launched the Inspiron Mini 12 notebook which features a 12.1-inch LCD panel. It uses Intel's mobile Internet device (MID) platform including Intel Atom Z520 or Z530 processor and Intel System Controller Hub US15W.

The notebook weighs only 1.24kg with a thickness of 23.3-27.6mm, while the price is set at 89,800 yen (US$943.4).
