Customizable lighting effects - color and lighting patterns - users can see who is calling, or if a text or email message has been received or if an alert has been activated. Users can choose between forty different effects using seven LED colors.

Katana Eclipse also features many other multimedia capabilities including a built-in music player, access to the Sprint Music Store with over-the-air music downloads, Sprint TV, Sprint Navigation and a microSDHC memory card slot.
