Taiwan chipmakers unaffected by earthquake

Taiwan-based chipmakers including foundries TSMC and UMC, and IC packager ASE have said that their operations have not been affected by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck the eastern coast of Taiwan before noon on April 20.
