Acer begins shipping notebooks from Chongqing, western China

Acer has begun shipping notebooks from its production base in Chongqing, western China, according to a company announcement. Shipments of notebooks from Chongqing will account for 30-40% of Acer's total notebook shipments in the second half of 2011.
