Compal sees October shipments dropping for notebooks, rising for LCD TVs

Compal Electronics shipped 4.3-4.4 million notebooks and 700,000-800,000 LCD TVs in October, with the former decreasing 4.4-6.5% on month and the latter hitting a monthly record increasing 55.6-77.8% sequentially, according to the company.
