Winbond procures US$23 million worth of equipment from Qimonda

Taiwan-based memory chipmaker Winbond Electronics has acquired US$23 million worth of equipment from Qimonda, which filed for bankruptcy in January, according to its filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
