MediaTek sales expected to be driven by WCDMA, TD-SCDMA in 2H09

MediaTek's 3G chip product lines - TD-SCDMA and WCDMA chips - are expected to start volume shipments by the end of the third quarter and drive company revenues for the second half of 2009, according to industry sources.
