Backlight unit maker Kenmos to volume produce cost-saving TV-use products in 4Q

Taiwan-based Kenmos Technology plans to volume produce a new type of backlight unit (BLU) using a new technology that can save 15% production costs for LCD TV panels in the fourth quarter of 2007, according to the company.
