LG.Philips LCD to spend half as much as AUO and CMO in 2007

LG.Philips LCD has trimmed its capex (capital expenditure) for 2007 to one trillion won (about US$1.04 billion), around half of the of the capex planned by rivals AU Optronics (AUO) and Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO).
