ASE to invest US$12 million in China for module assembly plant

Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) yesterday announced that it plans to invest US$12 million through a third party to set up a plant in Kunshan, China, according to a June 16 company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
