UMC sells off more AUO shares, resigns its positions from AUO's board

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) sold off an additional 8,931 shares of AU Optronics (AUO) yesterday, and resigned its positions from the AUO board of directors, according to filings with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) from both companies.
