ASE announces strong 3Q results, beats Amkor

Taiwan-based Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (ASE) generated record sales of NT$14.525 billion in the third quarter, up 13.7% month-on-month and 22.5% year-on-year, said company CFO Joseph Tung at an investors conference yesterday.
