Japanese IDMs boost wafer sort outsourcing to Taiwan

Japanese IDMs including Fujitsu, NEC, Renesas Technology and Toshiba have outsourced significant amounts of wafer sort orders to several Taiwanese packaging and testing companies since the third quarter, according to sources.
