Intel expected to mass-produce 845G integrated P4 chipset in May

To meet the demand for Pentium 4-based integrated chipsets, Intel is said to have informed its downstream system integrator (SI) clients that it will start mass-producing 845G chipsets in May, ahead of the originally scheduled third quarter of 2002.
