Taiwan market: Handset sales to reach 8 million units in 2012

Buoyed by strong demand for smartphones, sales of handsets in the Taiwan market are expected to hit eight million units in 2012 compared to 6.5-7.5 million sold in previous years, according to sources from retail channels.
