Quartz component maker Taitien 3Q10 profits affected by exchange losses

Taiwan-based Taitien Electronic announced its third-quarter revenues grew 19.4% sequentially to NT$559 million (US$18 million), but net profits were almost flat on quarter, due mainly to a loss of NT$20 million in foreign exchange transactions.
