Taiwan market: Sony launches digital camera DSC-TX5

Sony on March 25 launched a new Cyber-shot series digital camera model, DSC-TX5, in the Taiwan market at a recommended retail price of NT$12,980 (US$406), according to Sony Taiwan.

DSC-TX is proof against water (3 meters underwater for one hour), low temperatures (-10°C) and shock (1.5-meter fall), and is a device for diving and mountain climbing, the company said.
