Lite-On IT expects 4Q09 slim-type ODD revenues to rise 50% on year

Lite-On IT, the largest half-height optical disc drive (ODD) maker in Taiwan, is gearing up for production of slim-type ODDs, whose revenues are expected to increase 50% on year in fourth-quarter 2009, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
