Super Talent to launch 256GB SSD

Super Talent Technology has announced a new line of solid state drives (SSDs) equipped with multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash chips. The lineup brings 256GB of capacity for mobile professionals and gamers.

Super Talent's 256GB SSD delivers 2.5-inch internal storage solution for SATA 3Gb/s notebooks, with sequential read/write speeds up to 200/160MB per second. The new SSD will be available in January 2009.
