Chunghwa Telecom four-month net profit reaches almost 35% of 2007 target

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on May 9 reported self-estimated net profits of NT$15.4 billion (US$462.4 million) for January-April 2007, accounting for 34.65% of the company's goal for the year, and translating into net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.59.
