Nearly 72% of Taiwan households hooked to Internet in August 2006

Of all households in Taiwan, 5.25 million, or 71.7%, were connected to the Internet, according to a telephone survey of 4,102 households conducted during August 10-23, 2006 by the ACI-IDEA-FIND.
