Intel and Micron offer 8Gbit NAND flash to spot market players

Intel and Micron Technology recently started releasing 8Gbit NAND flash memory chips, fabricated by their joint venture IM Flash Technologies, to the spot market, and customer feedback is satisfactory, according to market sources.
