Compal Communications expected to ship 15 million handsets in 1Q, say sources

Handset shipments from Compal Communications in the first quarter are expected to hit 15 million units, surpassing the previous record of 11.8 million units set in the fourth quarter of 2005, according to sources at local institutional investors.
