Taiwan market: some Japanese brands cut prices for 5-megapixel DSCs

Panasonic and Pentax have both lowered their retail prices for 5-megapixel digital still cameras (DSCs) in the Taiwan market by around 28%-38% from NT$12,900- 13,900 (US$412- 444) to NT$8,000-10,000 (US$255-319), according to local retail channels.
