Altera poised to claim PLD lead over Xilinx

Having trailed Xilinx on previous-generation PLD products, Altera is now poised to claim the lead at the 0.13-micron and 90nm nodes, said Craig Lytle, vice president of Altera’s intellectual property business unit.
