3G subscribers topped 5.4 million in Japan

About 645,100 people signed up for third-generation (3G) services last month in Japan, bringing the country’s 3G subscribers to 5.47 million accounts, Japan’s Telecommunications Carriers Association (TCA) announced on February 7.
