VLSI: Semi equipment ratio hits 1.00 in December

The worldwide chip equipment book-to-bill (B/B) ratio hit 1.00 in December, climbing since September but remaining below the peak of 1.31 in April, according to VLSI Research. The B/B ratio is expected to reach 1.09 in January.
