Sony raises DSC forecast to 5.6 million units in fiscal 2002

Boosted by demand at home and abroad and the right marketing strategies, Sony recently lifted its DSC sales forecast from five million units to 5.6 million units in fiscal year 2002 (ending March 2003), reported the Dempa Shimbun.
