STMicroelectronics, Fujitsu jointly develop first contactless smart card IC with FRAM

STMicroelectronics (ST) and Fujitsu today announced they have teamed up to develop the ST19ZR01, the first contactless smart card IC with FRAM (ferroelectric RAM) and ROM, but no standard RAM.
