China’s MCU demand to soar to 1.8 billion units by 2005

According to China Semiconductor Info Web, micro-controller unit (MCU) demand in China grew to 779 million units in 2001, up 22.9% from 634 million units in 2000, and is expected to reach 1.8 billion units by 2005.
