Clientron expanding the exhibition at Computex Taipei in 2014

Clientron Corp., a world-leading manufacturer of thin client and embedded systems, has expanded its exhibition size at Computex Taipei this year for the extension of medical products - patient infotainment systems, as well as for the complete breadth of its latest product lines including zero/thin client solutions for cloud computing and POS solutions for the retail and hospitality markets.

Echoing the ICT market trend to connect the intelligent world, Clientron is showcasing its entire thin/zero client product lines including zero client PCoIP (PC-over-IP) solutions; as well as providing various choices with ARM-based and X86-based platform from entry to high-end level. Furthermore, Clientron not only is highlighting zero client solutions with lower power consumption and total cost of ownership (TCO) for digital signage application, but also has unveiled the new thin clients with quad-core Intel and AMD system-on-chip (SoC) CPU, DDR3L memory and rich expansion options with the benefits of green technology, innovative design and reliable quality.

For hospitality and retail solutions, Clientron is showcasing its leading POS innovations and abundant product portfolio including all-in-one POS terminal Evo770 with 17-inch touch display, bezel-free flat panel and aluminum housing design; and the new all-in-one 15-inch POS Terminal - Mia550 features IP64 water & dust-proof with innovative and cost-efficient construction design for the most demanding applications in the retail and hospitality industry. There are also new products of PT6000 series: including PT6100, which is designed with the next generation Intel Celeron J1900 SoC quad-core 2.0GHz processor, as well as the powerful POS Terminal PT6500, which is based on the new Intel Core i3-4330 3.5GHz processor.

In addition, Clientron has expanded its product lines to the medical sector – the "BT185" patient infotainment system is a design to be used by patients and clinicians for communication, entertainment and accessing medical data near the patient's bedside. Powered by the next generation Intel Celeron J1900 SoC quad-core processor, the Clientron BT185 supports 18.5-inch display with anti-microbial bezel material, fanless design and rich peripherals. Clientron's BT185 model can be applied in hospital, treatment centers and also laboratories.
