The device features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, a 2GB memory and a 1280 by 800 display with an option to choose from either 16GB or 32GB storage space.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 adopts the latest Android operating system with a 5-megapixel rear-end camera and another 1.3-megapixel one for the front end. Meanwhile, the machine also comes with Samsung's S Pen for touchscreen input.
Asustek showcased the Memo Pad HD7 tablet at Computex 2013. The product is priced at US$169/unit.
