Digital photo frame market to decline in 2009 and 2010, says IDC Oct 29, 15:08 Global digital photo frames shipments grew 6.3% on year to 9.1 million units in 2008, with the US being the dominant region of nearly 5.9 million units, according to IDC. The global market is expected to decline by about 10% in 2009 with shipments falling to 8.2 million units while the US market will decline by 11%. Single digit growth is forecast to resume in 2011 and continue to improve throughout the rest of the forecast period, resulting in a 2008-2013 CAGR of 0.4%. Read more |
