Chunghwa Telecom lands 4-year FTTB/ADSL network contract from Taipei City Government Sep 7, 10:31 Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) has obtained a contract from the Taipei City Government to provide a network of 13,800 FTTB and ADSL leased-circuits specifically for a security monitoring system to be deployed by the Taipei City Police Department. Emphasis shifts to fiber to the home, says Ovum Jul 9, 11:57 In countries such as Korea and Japan, the rapid take-up of FTTH/B and subsequent decline of ADSL technologies is nothing new.
