Taiwan market: Government approves Chunghwa Telecom price cuts for IP peering

Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) on August 5 approved a reduction in IP (Internet protocol) peering charge rates proposed by Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), with the new rates lowered by an average of 46% and retroactive to July 1, 2009.
