Spot quotes for a-Si PV modules fall to US$1.7/watt

China- and Taiwan-based makers of amorphous silicon (a-Si) thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules with conversion rates of 6-7% have lowered their spot prices to US$1.7/watt, according to industry sources.
