Sony has unveiled the HDR-TG5 Handycam series mini digital camcorder for launch in the Taiwan market on May 20 at a recommended retail price of NT$36,900 (US$1,101), according to Sony Taiwan.

The Handycam HDR-TG5 features full HD (high definition) video recording and 4-megapixel photography, a 2.7-inch LCD touch screen, built-in 16GB flash memory and a 16GB external memory card, Sony Taiwan indicated.
