Foxconn will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on May 10 to begin construction of its China operational headquarters on a 10,000 square meter (2.47 acre) site located in the east of Shanghai, eastern China. Completion is scheduled for 2015.
Foxconn also pointed out that in addition to serving as a new operating center, the new building will also act as an R&D center for coastal areas of China as well as an e-commence center for the company.
