MSI announces new 17-inch multimedia notebooks

Micro-Star International (MSI) has announced the new 17.3-inch FX700 and FR700 notebooks featuring Intel's Core i5 processor and MSI's exclusive TDE Turbo technology.

The FX700 is equipped with a discrete graphics card along with MSI's GPU boost technologies to enhance performance. The model also adopts Creative's THX high-end cinema-class wrap around sound technology to boost the audio experience.

The MSI FX700 and FR700 also feature MSI's Cinema Pro technology, with which users can simply click a hotkey to instantly switch to film mode for higher resolution and richer colors.
