Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) saw consolidated revenues amount to about NT$104.96 billion (US$3.27 billion) in the second quarter of 2010, higher than its target of NT$100-102 billion, according to financial data released by the company.
TSMC posted consolidated sales of NT$36.33 billion in June, which scored the company's all-time high for the third straight month. The figure showed 37% growth from NT$26.515 billion in June 2009, implying the company's ongoing recovery from the previous industry downturn.
TSMC's consolidated revenues for January through June totaled NT$197.15 billion, up 73.4% from the same period in 2009.
TSMC will hold an investors event on July 29 to review its performance during the second quarter, and guidance for the third.
