Vizio showcases expanded lineup with TruLED and 3D models at CEA Line Shows 2010

US-based LCD TV vendor Vizio showcased its expanded lineup of HD TVs that include Vizio Internet Apps (VIA), 3D, Razor LED and TruLED at CEA Line Shows, June 22-23, 2010 in New York City.

Vizio XVT 3D HDTVs

Two of its 3D TVs offer an Active 3D HD TV solution with their TruLED backlighting. The 55- and 47-inch direct full array TruLED with Smart Dimming Active 3D HDTVs incorporate a frame sequential display and active-shutter glasses that work together with Vizio's 480Hz SPS high frame rate technology with Smooth Motion for amazing 3D images.

Vizio's 42-inch XVT 3D HDTV produces stunning 3D images with Vizio's Razor LED backlighting with Smart Dimming and incorporates a frame sequential display and active-shutter glasses that work together with Vizio's 480Hz SPS high frame rate technology with Smooth Motion. All three models will be shipping in in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Vizio Wireless Internet Apps (VIA) TVs in 22- to 55-inch

Vizio showcased its 42-inch XVT series Razor LED HDTV along with the M261VP 26-inch Razor LED LCD HDTV with Vizio Internet Apps. It and its sister, the M220NV, are the smallest Internet-enabled HDTVs that put the best of the web right on a TV screen, offering the convenience of on-demand movies, TV shows, social networking, music, photos and more at the push of a button. With built-in WiFi (802.11n) for easy set-up, the M261VP also boasts full HD with Razor LED backlighting for brilliant clarity in an elegant, razor thin design.

Vizio Internet Apps (VIA)

All XVT sets feature the Vizio Internet Apps (VIA) Connected HDTV platform, delivering unprecedented choice and control of web-based content directly to the TV without the need of a PC or set-top box. Current Apps from top online content and service brands including Amazon Video On Demand, Facebook, Flickr, Netflix, Rhapsody, Twitter, VUDU, and Yahoo! TV Widgets, as well as several new apps recently released, including:
