Compal subscribes to half of Vibo Telecom convertible bonds

Compal Electronics on July 16 announced that it will subscribe to 50% of the unsecured convertible bonds to be issued by Vibo Telecom, one of the five 3G mobile telecom carriers in Taiwan, at a total price of NT$1.745 billion (US$52.9 million).
