Transcend introduces Multi-Card Reader M5
Press release, December 7; Eric Mah, DIGITIMES [Friday 7 December 2007]

Transcend Information recently announced the arrival of its new Multi-Card Reader M5 memory card reader.

Transcend's Multi-Card Reader M5 is compact, adapter-free, and has all five of its card slots clearly labeled on the top of the reader to avoid confusion and save time, highlighted the company.

The Multi-Card Reader M5 offers a slot for almost every memory card currently on the market, including: CompactFlash and Microdrive, SD cards, xD cards, the complete Memory Stick series, miniSD and microSD, according to Transcend.

Transcend's M5 is fully compatible with USB 2.0 and supports the latest SD 2.0 (SDHC) and MMC 4.0 standards for hi-end memory cards. The M5 also directly accepts newer, mini-size mobile phone memory cards such as miniSD, microSD, MMCmobile, MS Duo and M2 without having to use an adapter.

The Multi-Card Reader M5 is available in either pink or ivory colors.
