Sony to launch BDP-S1 Blu-ray Disc player soon

Sony will launch its BDP-S1, its first Blu-ray Disc (BD) player which was originally scheduled for launch in July of this year, later this month at a recommended retail price of US$999.95, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
