AMD to postpone launch of Socket-F Opteron to August, say sources

AMD has notified manufacturers in Taiwan that the launch of its Socket-F Opteron platform with 1,207 pins will be postponed to August 1, instead of the originally-planned July 11, according to sources at Taiwan motherboard makers.
