Sparkle launches another graphics card with 512MB GDDR3

Taiwan-based Sparkle Computer announced availability of its new Calibre P790 graphics card, equipped with 512MB of GDDR3 memory. Based on the Nvidia GeForce 7900 GT graphics processing unit (GPU), the card is SLI-ready.

Thanks to the GPU, the feature set of Calibre P790 include characteristics such as DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL 2.0 support, 256-bit memory interface, two 400 MHz RAMDACs for analog display resolutions up to and including 2048×1536 at 85Hz, dual-link DVI capability (up to 2560×1600 for digital flat-panel displays) and an integrated HDTV encoder (up to 1080i).

The card is bundled with Painkiller (a first-person shooting game), PowerDVD playback utility and PowerProducer video-editing software, as well as with a nine-language user’s manual, Sparkle said.
