Chyang Fun Industry (CFI) is showcasing its CF-B4042 hard disk drive (HDD) case for the SOHO and SMB (small and medium business) markets at Computex Taipei. The new product joins the company's full line of custom solutions for PC cases and housings for systems, storage and servers.
The CF-B4042 can house up to four HDDs, which gives users with 250GB drives up to a terabyte in capacity. The USB 2.0 interface enables a maximum data transmit rate of 480 Mbps/sec (maximum), which is 40 times faster than that of a USB1.1 HDD. The CF-B4042 also has a cool mode that controls temperatures to remain under 35 degrees Celsius.
The company is also displaying a range of other case solutions, including small-form-factor (SFF) computers, industrial PCs, servers and CD duplicator boxes. Several of the cases look familiar and this is not surprising since the company's website claims that it supplies cases to several top brands, including Escom, Vobis, ASI, U-BIX, Schadt (Germany), Gigabyte (Taiwan), Fry's(USA), FiberNexix (UK), FIC(Taiwan), Keian (Japan), Shuttle, Iwill and QDI.
For details, visitors can visit the company's booth in hall 1 (A1211/1231), or browse the website: http://www.chyangfun.com/index.asp.
